The subject of training is essential at every level. Over the years the Feralpi Group has provided the Sider+ project with specific training courses relating to the steel industry.

The idea transpired in 2016. The ideal continuation of the 2015/2016 technical training course promoted by the CFP Zanardelli vocational high school is the Feralpi Sider+ initiative. This three-week (128 hours) specialist course was set up so that new hires can further deepen their knowledge of the steel industry (metallurgy, metal smelting/refining/rolling processes, maintenance, automation etc.), in addition to soft skills such as communication and working in a team.

The Sider+ training course was repeated in 2019. With a new format, the project enabled 12 people to attend a 148-hour training course, with lessons on theory and practice in technical subjects, soft skills and safety. Participants who excelled were offered the possibility of employment in the Group's companies on completion of the course.
